Grolsch chooses AAEON Panel PC in production
Koninklijke Grolsch, a Dutch beer brand known for its 400 years of craftsmanship and mastery, will be using the AAEON 15” Panel PC Omni-3155-BT from now on for the visual operation of operators’ machines. A solution that guarantees simple operation and a very rapid response time.
Compact and lengthy support
The brewery was brand-new in 2004, but over the years, all kinds of hardware was added, which led to a mishmash in production. Standardisation and a long-term solution were important conditions when choosing new hardware.
“We were also looking for a compact solution so the new screens could be built into the existing lecterns,” says Freddy Groeneveld, an engineer at Koninklijke Grolsch. “After an on-site discussion, we were immediately confident about the AAEON screen and DOBIT’s expertise. The AAEON 15” Panel PC is not only a compact solution; it also looks good and that for a keen price.”
Rapid response time is appreciated
“We will systematically replace the old screens throughout the production line in the coming years,” says Freddy. “DOBIT is our new standard and this to the great satisfaction of our operators. They especially appreciate the very rapid response time. The PCs are operated without gloves, and since we do not have to clean the screens directly, an IP65 front is sufficient.”
