‘All our preparations must be prepared in a uniform way’ begins Rudi de Pauw. ‘In the past, we used laminated sheets to communicate recipes, but this wasn't ideal. The flexibility and speed of communication was not optimal. Cards also got lost, or they were replaced too late. This is why we looked for an alternative, which is how we came to DOBIT. ‘For this project, together with our client, we opted for a 19-inch Elo touch screen’ explains Wendy van de Sande from DOBIT. ‘The Elo 1928L with AccuTouch technology is an ideal appliance for use in a production environment where there’s a greater risk of dirtiness. AccuTouch uses a pressure-sensitive layer, which means that dust particles or damp don't generate any false touches. The patented Elo sealing ensures very good resistance to damp and dust. This means that the screen gives very accurate touches, even with dirty gloves!’
