Via the Elo 17” touch monitor, employees can maintain and consult data about the production process quickly and easily. This means that orders, downtime, production faults, etc. can be recorded in a simple and intuitive way. Not only does this allow Agio Cigars to gain insight into the entire production and quality process, but also to have predictability and control over it.

Touch is not new in industry. ‘Industrial companies also have a lot to gain by investing in touch technology. Touch is the most intuitive form of operation’, explains Wendy van de Sande, Account Manager at DOBIT. ‘But it’s important to take into account all the environmental factors, because in industry it’s a bit more demanding. The Elo touch monitors that we supply to Agio Cigars have AccuTouch technology, which is why they work perfectly in environments with lots of dust and dirt.’

It’s important for our employees that they can spend as much of their time as possible on producing cigars, and as little as possible on collecting information. The clear touch screen makes this possible.
