De DOB1400 serie is een aantrekkelijke serie informatiezuilen in een geheel eigen stijl met afgeronde hoeken. Gebruikers vinden het ontwerp een moderne up-to-date uitstraling hebben. Deze unieke public-proof zuil wordt ook wel een alleskunner genoemd. Verschillende componenten kunnen eenvoudig in deze zuil worden ingebouwd. Door de projective capacitive touch-technologie van de 22 inch monitor is het ook mogelijk om de van de smartphone en tablet bekende touchgestures te gebruiken (zoals “swipen” en “pinchen”).
